MAKE YOUR SUMMER COUNT!

CHOREOGRAPHERS

 
-Discuss and experiment with making dances.
-Use space, energy, and movement.
-Develop and rehearse new choreography.
-Assignments performed.
-Assignments critiqued.
-Learn tools of choreography.


COMPOSERS

 
-Work with Director of Music.
-Collaborate with choreographers.
-Create original music to be used during The Project.


DANCERS

 
-2 or 3 technique classes daily.
-Work with choreographers daily.
-Learn, rehearse, and perform new choreography.
-Gain, enhance and perfect performance skills.
-Learn tools of choreography and performing.


OBSERVERS
-Attend all activities of The Project:  Classes, seminars, showings and critique sessions each evening. 


EXPLORE & DEVELOP

 The Glenda Brown Choreography Project offers choreographers and dancers a phenomenal opportunity to explore and develop both technique and artistry.  The format includes:

  • Daily critiques for choreographers and dancers
  • Feedback / support from faculty and peers
  • Enhance technique
  • Seminars for lighting, music, business, production
  • Special Final Performance

9-12:15         Ballet/Modern/Jazz Classes

12:15-1:15   Lunch

1:15-2:30     Technique Class / Dance related seminars

2:45-5:45     Dancers work with choreographers

5:45-6:45     Dinner

7:00                 Perform completed works

9:00                 Critique sessions for choreographers and dancers
